Heydar Petroleum Refinery has been central to Azerbaijan’s economic and industrial development since its establishment.

As one of the largest and most advanced oil refining facilities in the country, it processes 21 out of 24 grades of Azerbaijani crude oil, producing essential petroleum products such as automotive gasoline, aviation kerosene, diesel fuel, and petroleum coke.

Our refinery meets 100% of Azerbaijan’s domestic demand for refined products and exports 45% of its output, significantly contributing to national revenue and energy security.

Our mode of Heydar Petroleum operation over the years unlocked foreign investment and enabled the development of major export projects. The modernization of the oil refinery, including the introduction of advanced units such as catalytic cracking and catalytic reforming, has enabled it to produce fuel that meets international environmental and quality requirements.
